| Lazarus Funeral Home was founded in 1986 by Mr. Michael O’Brian. A former employee of Cricks Funeral Home, Mr. O’Brian decided to open his funeral home in Vieux Fort where it took him two years to get a suitable location. Lazarus Funeral Home is located on the New Dock Road, Vieux Fort. He started off using locally built hearses and coffins for approximately two years and then purchased his first American hearse. The first hearse was named Mervin after an eighteen year old boy. The company now has a fleet of fourteen American hearses and two stretch limousines. The company is managed by his sons with a support staff of seven. |
